Although it is no longer September (Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month), our goal to raise awareness has not gone away. Please continue learning, knowing your body, and spreading the word. Each of us can save a life!
One in 58 women will be diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer in their lifetime.
Ovarian Cancer has a terrible survival rate, largely in part due to its mundane symptoms in early stages and a lack of early detection tests. All women must know what these symptoms are so that they question them and not ignore them. If Ovarian Cancer is caught in the early stages, a woman's chance of survival with treatment is much higher than late stage.
You can beat Ovarian Cancer if you are diagnosed early! The symptoms are subtle and often ignored. It's simple! Know your body, recognize the symptoms, visit your doctor.
